Slacker...

Yes, once again I am officially a slacker when it comes to updating our blog. The days fly by and so do the nights. After the girls go to bed I have all these intentions to get things done but never do. So tonight insomnia has kicked in and I decided instead of lying on the couch watching GAC I would post a little update. I am not promising many pictures due to our Internet is so SLOW.

We are definitely making things work right now. I had the opportunity to go back to work and fill in for my friend who took my position at WFF. I am loving working, although obviously I am missing my baby girls and they are growing way too fast but we are surviving. I am hoping to start a part time schedule soon and I will be at a happy medium where I can work and spend time with them. I am very thankful to work for a great company and understand the need for family time as well. Wade has been so great at taking care of the girls on Fridays, he doesn't complain too much, okay he really doesn't complain at all and for that I am so thankful. Not only does he take care of the girls but he is also so good at making sure the house is picked up and laundry has at least been started. (I am a very lucky woman to have a hubby who helps -Love you Wade!!!) He has tried to take advantage of every little chance he could get to get some time in at the golf course. I know he didn't do as much golfing as he would have liked to but there is always next year right?

Kenadee is LOVING the first grade. On her first day of school she told me her favorite thing was recess and when I asked why she replied "because the boys chased me". I am positive we are going to be in trouble with this girl. She has really come out of her shell the last few weeks and has become way more opinionated and sassy. (I am not looking forward to what it will be like when she is 16). She is such a good big sister always helping and playing with the babies..
Mylee is just as mischievous as ever. I have been trying to work with her on potty training but haven't fully enforced it. She is getting the idea but her favorite thing is to take her diaper off by herself and run around the house without it. She is starting to talk alot and has gotten quite the funny little personality. She loves to tourment Kenadee and taylee. Mylee has 3 favorite things right now... and one does not come in front of the other... her blanky, her ba (sippy cup - YES she is addicted to it) and her Pappa. Mylee will argue with me every morning. I will say let's go to aunt Stephs and she will shake her head no and say pappa.

Taylee just got her first tooth a week ago. She is crawling around like crazy and tonight she pulled herself up and stood up next to the dishwasher. I am not ready for her to be doing this, I am afraid she is going to be as busy as Mylee. She is the happiest little girl I have ever seen and can make just as much noise at the other two. She has the biggest smile and laughs at almost everything.
I can't believe Halloween will be here in a couple of days. The girls are very excited about their costumes, to think that the holiday season is approaching is a little nerve racking to me time is flying by way too fast.Oh wells it is what it is right... I hope everyone is doing well and we love you!!

Summer Time...

Yes...I have been a HORRIBLE blogger. I honestly sit down at the computer with great intentions and never end up getting anything posted. I can not believe school will be starting in 3 weeks. Let me try to sum up what has been going on the couple of months. I will try and get pictures posted this weekend.

I have been watching my friends 2 kids every Monday and Wednesday. So I honestly think that is what has made my weeks FLY by. They are a great joy to have at our home (most of the time) Ha..The reason I say this is because Kinley and Kenadee either play great together or fight constently, just like sisters. But, fighting is part of the growing up process. Preston is hilarious and loves, loves, LOVES to torment the girls. Mylee is getting to be so much fun she is starting to talk more and is quite the character. She loves to copy things that Kenadee does. Taylee is rolling all over the place and starting to hold her own bottle. I am so not ready for her to moble yet but I know the day will becoming very soon. She is so a sqirmy little stink so I am afraid she is going to be as busy as mylee is. Which reminds me I will post some pictures of all the miscevisous things little miss Mylee has done lately. You will all get a great laugh!

Kenadee has asked if Kamri could come over to play this summer and I still haven't called my friend Chelsee to get the girls together. YIKES!! I sure do feel like a horrible mother! on the other hand we have been doing some pretty fun things.

JUNE - we went and stayed almost a week with my fabulous sister-in-law Shelby. The girls absolutly loved playing with Cache and Abby. We didn't do much but lounge around the house, one time we made it out to the pool but the weather wasn't that warm that week. The kids LOVED making big messes of Shelby's house and for Shelby and I, I think the thought of having someone else to talk to besides our little ones was great! We have been wanting to go back to Utah to stay with Shelby but haven't yet made it. We will be going back there soon, So... Shelby get ready for us!

JULY-- CAMPING, CAMPING and MORE CAMPING...

We got a late start on camping this year but I feel like we have definitely made up for it the month of July. Over the 4th we went with my parents and our good friends Jake and Ashley and Ashley's parents to Lava. We had a great time 4-wheeling, the guys tried to do a little bit of fishing, and we went to Chesterfield and went through some of the homes that have been restored on the historic land site.

2 weeks later we went camping for 5 days in Montana. We LOVE Montana and spending time at Hebgen Lake. We spent alot of time swatting mosquito's (It didn't matter how much repellent we had on the skeeters attacked us!) Playing in the water and playing card games. It is so nice to leave for 5 days and not have to worry about laundry or cleaning. But as much fun as we had we were all ready to leave mosquitoville and come home to sleep in our own beds. we knew it would only be a short time before we left camping again.

Wade had his big THREE ZERO (30th) Birthday on the Sunday we got home from Montana. Such an uneventful birthday (Sorry Honey, I'll make it up to you next year) but he did score some great gifts, A wheelbarrow (that he had been constantly reminding me about for who knows how long) a little fire pit to put in our back yard and my parents got him a nice tool set which he has been in dire need of. PLUS we went to eat at El Mirado with NO Kiddos (yes it was a Sunday). I hope he enjoyed his birthday.

Last Thursday we headed to Mackay for our "BIG" Mackay get together with Wades sisters and Step siblings. I honestly think that every year it gets better and better. We took Shilo's 4-wheeler with the intentions of going for a ride, it was great to have it there but was rode maybe 3 times...I am not sure we even put a mile on it. So Friday morning we got up and first thing Abby and Kenadee did was pull out the barbies (Nicki SCORED this box of barbies and barbie shoes at a garage sale...it was the best 5-10 bucks she has ever spent) Cache and Mylee had fun tormenting their sisters. Later that afternoon Gary's kids started rollin in. Friday night we just chilled with everyone. Saturday we got up had breakfast and then we had a Little golf scramble. This was alot of fun! It was my first time golfing for this year, I was amazed with myself the first 5 holes, great drives, chips and putts. But then my team who had 2 carts mind you decided that I was making them feel guilty for walking (yes they were being lazy) and so they had me get into the cart holy did that ever mess with my game. By the 9th hole I was so ready to be done. Wades team won ... well they won bragging rights until next years scramble. On sunday we had family pictures and then a big softball game Adults against kids. once again the adults won. Next year I am going to video tape the game. Seeing all the little ones get excited to play is the cutest thing ever. Not to mention all the smack talk that goes on between the older kids and the adults.

So now it is the first of august and I can hardly believe it. Kenadee will be starting school in 3 weeks and I am going to go back to work for about 10 weeks while the girl that took over my job goes on maternity leave. Exciting yet nerve racking at the same time. My great great friend Jessica who also happens to be my neighbor is going to be taking my kiddos while I am working. I am so grateful for her and owe her more than she will ever know.

I hope you are all doing great and enjoying your summer!

New pictures...

The girls have been WAY overdue on getting their pictures taken. Sunday I was completely afraid that on Monday the girls would all be grumpy and not cooperate and sure enough Mylee was a bear!! So that explains the bottle and the blankie in the picture. But it is her in this stage of life....

These are just a few...the girls are alot of fun, Kenadee is SO bord and is ready for school to start. Mylee has been nicknamed MOD (master of disaster), and Taylee is getting to be so fun, she rolled over from her belly to her back on Thursday which was exciting. We are enjoying the summer well...what we can enjoy with this crazy Idaho weather.

The new do....

So I have been wanting to grow my hair back out because I absolutely loved it in this picture....

But the last time i got it colored and trimmed it turned out like this....

So after 8 weeks of patiently waiting and 2 weeks or more of asking Wade what he liked and he never changed his answer once was.... "Honey!! I like your hair longer and darker, BUT...do what ever makes you happy." So I ended up doing this....

I love it...I feel so sassy!!!

I actually got it trimmed and then it was at a length that drives me bonkers which was right at the top of my shoulders , because I was so undecided I thought I would just go back in 6 weeks and have it chopped off then if I didn't like it but then... Holly (who is FABULOUS at coloring and cutting) says I have time if you want to and I sat there and debated and finally I said OKAY, I don't know who was more excited me or Holly! So...I met Wade in the middle my hair is dark like he likes it but shorter and I love it.

Night at the Museum

Wednesday night Wades work sponsored at night at the museum for the Titanic exhibit. As we got there we were each handed a boarding pass with a name of a person that was actually on the Titanic. On the boarding pass it listed what class you were in and a little bit of information about that person whether they were traveling alone or with family and also where they were from. As we walked through the exhibit seeing chandeliers, china, clothing, wallets, money, tools, tiles etc. that had been pulled from the ship it was amazing to see what things looked like then and how much things have changed yet how much things are still the same. We were able to also see things like the difference in the sleeping quarters from a 1st class vs 3rd class, I was so amazed that the difference wasn't just in the sleeping quarters, things were the very finest for the 1st class travelers from the dinner menu, to the china to the tile on the floor. The menus, the bedding, the tile on the floor and the china got not so elegant for the 2ND class travelers and for the 3rd class their china nor menus did not list the Titanic logo on them. As we got close to the end of the exhibit we were able to place our hands on an ice burg that was as cold as the one the Titanic collided with it was so crazy. Before we left we looked at our boarding passes to see our names an then located our names on a board showing the names of the survivors or those who lost their lives. Wade and Kenadee lived and I passed didn't make it. Of course Kenadee and Wade walked out laughing.
After that we went to Hard Hat Steak house and had a yummy dinner, Wade had a bucket of trash which consisted of battered shrimp, cod and chicken and some french fries and Kenadee and I shared a steak. It was YUMMY!!! On the way home there was a big storm a bruin after several phone calls between my parents and I we pulled into Blackfoot. The plaza was like a lake and the rain was coming down. We headed home to drop off the car and headed out to my parents house to pick up the 2 little girls, as we drove past the swimming pool and down Fisher this is what we saw.....
SO CRAZY!!!! it seems likes since Wednesday we have had non stop rain. Which I am not really complaining about because I don't mind the rain but.. I do have to say when the sun comes out the kids will be playing in a jungle because the grass is so long back yard. What is up with the crazy weather?

Just a little update....

Okay....maybe it isn't going to be that little of an update.

Life always has its ups and downs but lately ours has been in the middle. We have been staying busy and trying to enjoy every beautiful day we get.

Baby Animal day at the EISF grounds......what a fun day we went withWades sister Shelby, her two kids Abby and Cache, my mom and also Kwynn (Stephanies only girl). We had a lot of fun trying to milk a pretend cow, shaking cream to make it butter, petting goats, pigs, holding baby chicks and bunnies. Kwynn and Abby also touched a snake GROSS!! We had such a great time and loved spending the time with Shelby and the kids while they were in town! We love you Aunt Shelby!!!!

Taylee was blessed on Mothers Day, it was a great day. I didn't get any pictures of her in her blessing dress alone. I keep telling myself that I will put her back in it I guess I better get it done soon because she isn't going to beable to fit in it much longer she is growing like a weed. When I took her in for her 2 month check up ( she was actually almost 3 months) she weighed 10 lbs. 8 oz. and she was 24 inches long. She is such a joy and has had to learn to be a tough tough little girl. Mylee loves kiss Taylee, throw things at her and head butt her. I think Taylee is going to be a tough little girl.

Just some other fun pictures of us having some fun and enoying the sunshine.....
Summer break is starting soon and we can not wait. I will get a break of a few things....like no fighting with Kenadee on what she is going to wear or how she is going to wear her hair that day, no more rushing her to eat so she can brush her teeth to catch the bus. We are looking forward to long weekends of swimming, boating, golfing and plenty of camping. I can not belive how fast time really does fly. My girls are getting so so big but I am loving every minute of it. Thanks wade for letting me stay home to take care of the girls. I love you so so much!!!
